ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas Southern bowling closed out the 2025-26 season in the quarterfinal round of the SWAC Bowling Championship on Saturday.
Using the Mega Match format, which consists of a team match, baker total pinfall and best-of-seven baker match, TSU opened the morning with a 2-0 win over Southern as they won the team match 816-803 followed by a 1029-860 win in game two to advance.
TSU battled Alabama A&M in its second match of the day and fell 964-873 in the opener but battled back with a 920-753 win to force a winner-take-all game three. Playing the best-of-seven baker match, AAMU advanced after winning 4.5-1.5.
Dazani Holmes led TSU on Saturday with a 359 followed by Zaniya McClain's 349.
