NORMAL, Ala.- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers basketball team stayed hot on Monday night as the captured a convincing 83-46 win over the Alabama A&M Lady Bulldogs.
Diamonisha Sophus tallied a game high 18 points and Alexus Johnson, and Brianna Sidney helped lead the charge for Texas Southern scoring 15 and 14 points respectively.
The win was TSU's 13
th straight victory and the Lady Tigers are now gearing up to host a two-game home stand in which they can clinch the 2015 SWAC Regular Season Title.
Texas Southern will host Alcorn State on Thursday, March 5 at 5:30 pm at the HPE Arena.Â
