HOUSTON
- Brianna Sidney knocked down a game-high 20 points to lead the Lady Tigers to their third conference victory of the season.
Texas Southern defeated Grambling State 74-33 Saturday evening.
TSU lead the entire game and they went on a 21-2 run with 11:04 left in the first half. Going into halftime, the Lady Tigers were up 35-20.
Second half tempo remained in TSU's hand. Alexus Johnson connected on a three-pointer late to help push TSU's lead further.
Grambling State could not stop Texas Southern offensively as the Lady Tigers enjoyed very productive outings from their key players.
