TSU 15, HTU 2
TSU took control early with a six-run second as they cruised to a 15-2 win in game one.

HTU would cross home two runs in the first but TSU answered in the bottom half as Justin Cooper and Jeremy Gaines hit consecutive singles which led to a sac bunt from Jeremy Almaguer which scored both runners for a 2-2 score.

Starter Lane Gordon had a 1-2-3 top of the second and TSU broke the floodgates open in the second as CJ Castillo moved TSU ahead 3-2 after a leadoff double and run off an HTU throwing error. TSU would use its speed to its advantage from that point as they stole four bases while netting six runs on five hits to lead 8-2.

TSU would tack on a pair of runs in the fourth on Gabe Vasquez's two-run homer and another pair in the sixth on a pair of HTU fielding errors.
