Tigers take series over UAPB with 7-2 victory in game three

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Texas Southern overcame an early deficit to defeat Arkansas Pine Bluff, 7-2 on Sunday.

The Golden Lions got out to the early lead.  UAPB scored runs in the second and third innings, to take a 2-0 lead.  

Jordan Knox would hit a RBI single to shortstop in the third to make the score 2-0.

From that point on, it was all Texas Southern.  TSU would score five runs in the fourth, to take a 5-2 lead.  

The Tigers would not look back, getting two insurance markers, one in the seventh, and one in the eighth, to seal the win.

Kamren Dukes would go three-for-five from the plate, with three RBIs in the win for TSU.
