TUCSON, Ariz.-Â Texas Southern competed hard but the Tigers fell behind early in a 85-63 loss at #16 Arizona on Wednesday night.
Arizona was able to build a 13-point lead in the opening five minutes of play. The Tigers would subsequently go into intermission trailing by 19 points.
The second half of play was a much tighter game with Arizona only outscoring TSU 40-37 but unfortunately the Tigers were not able to get enough stops defensively to mount a comeback. Â
