Lady Tigers win SWAC Regular Season Title Outright

HOUSTON, Texas - Southern and Texas Southern's meeting at the HPE Arena Saturday night was called with 12:36 remaining after an on court altercation took place involving the two teams. 

As a result of the altercation and the lack of available student-athletes to continue, the game was ended with 12:36 remaining in the second half. 

Since less than 30 minutes of the contest was completed, none of the statistical information from the game will be recorded. 

After reviewing the ruling, the Conference office determined that both team's records will reflect a loss. 

As a result, Texas Southern, with a conference record of 16-2, took sole possession of the SWAC regular season title.
