HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Texas Southern fell to Alabama State 3-0, Thursday afternoon at the John Hunt Soccer Complex.
After a scoreless first half of competition the Lady Hornets managed to get on the board off a unassisted goal from Ariel Lewis in the 52
nd minute of play.
Lewis added another unassisted goal in the 67
th minute and ASU would later tack on one additional goal for a three score margin.
Texas Southern outshot Alabama State 24-12 but the Lady Tigers were unable to find the back of the net.
TSU concludes the year with a 8-11 overall record as they set multiple school and individual records this year under second year head coach Kathryn Saunders. Â Â Â
