Texas Southern captures third consecutive Western Division title

GRAMBLING, La.-Texas Southern collected their third consecutive Western Division title with a straight-sets victory over Grambling State.
 
Kali Fluke led the way with 12 kills as Robyn Shannon chipped in eight putaways and 12 digs.
 
Chelsea Thompson sent out 16 assists, seven digs and two kills as Audriana Carson posted eight kills, three blocks, three digs and two aces.
 
Allison Woods collected nine digs, one ace and one assist. Fluke currently paces the conference with a .316 hitting percentage, tallying 277 kills with 81 errors in 620 swings.
 
Her kills total (227) puts her third in the SWAC while her 106.0 total blocks (39 solo, 67 block assists) is the second-most this season.
