HOUSTON- The Texas Southern Lady Tigers Volleyball team clicked on all cylinders on Tuesday as they swept rival Prairie View A&M in straight sets in what was a highly enertaining match from start to finish.
TSU remains unbeaten in league play with a 2-0 mark in the SWAC's Western Division. Audrianna Carson tallied ten kills while Kali Fluke and Robyn Shannon also contributed to the offensive success of the team.
"We got off to a good start and that was big for us," said TSU head coach Jocelyn Adams. "Several of our players stepped up big tonight and it was without a doubt a team effort tonight that led us to winning the match."
Texas Southern will travel to face Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Oct. 4 at 2:00 pm before returning home to face Texas-Pan American on Oct. 7 at 7:00 pm.
