TSU drops 61-54 decision to Sam Houston State

HUNTSVILLE, Texas- Sam Houston State got a 61-54 win over Texas Southern on Wednesday.

SHSU led 29-16 at intermission as they set the tempo early in the game.

Texas Southern was led in scoring by Toni Cheadle as she tallied 15 points while fellow teammate Brianna Sidney added 14 points. 

TSU was outrebounded 53-28 in the loss.
