Sabrina Rose was named head coach at Texas Southern University prior to the start of the 2012 bowling season.

She brings with her wide spread knowledge of the game. In 2012 the team improved significantly under her guidance as Texas Southern competed well at several tournaments during the season.

The program made a breakthrough as they claimed the 2018 SWAC Bowling Title. 

Texas Southern edged Jackson State in a back and forth contest to win its first SWAC Bowling conference championship since 2006.

TSU would go on to compete in the NCAA Bowling Championship at Tropicana Lanes in St. Louis, Mo.
