Softball and baseball games Friday moved up

HOUSTON – With inclement weather expected in the greater Houston area Friday afternoon and evening, Texas Southern University's department of athletics announced time changes for this weekend's baseball and softball games.
 
The Lady Tigers softball team will face Alabama State in a doubleheader Friday, starting at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park. The two teams were originally scheduled to play two of their three games this weekend on Saturday, but will now conclude the series with a single game Saturday at 1:00 pm.
 
Meanwhile, the Tigers baseball team moved the start time of their series-opener with Grambling State on Friday to 1 p.m. at MacGregor Park. The game was originally scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Saturday's and Sunday's scheduled contests are still slated for their original start times.
